Before 1066 the City of Gloucester paid £36 at face value, 12 sesters of honey at that Borough's measure, 36 dickers of iron, 100 drawn iron rods for nails for the King's ships, and certain other petty customary dues in the hall and the King's chamber.

Now the City pays to the King £60 at 20 (pence) to the ora.  The King has £20 from the mint.
