Dit boek is pure nostalgie voor iedereen die is opgegroeid met vinylplaten en cassetjes. Toen ik het bij Urban Outfitters zag liggen, wist ik dan ook meteen dat ik het moest hebben! De bloemlezing uit 50 jaar rock'n'roll en jazz is interessant en al klonken de meeste namen me redelijk tot zeer bekend in de oren, toch was het leuk om nog dingen te ontdekken waar ik nog nooit van had gehoord. Sla het boek open op een willekeurige bladzijde en je vindt meteen wel iets dat er voor zorgt dat je het niet zomaar kan wegleggen ... Al is het maar om de geweldige platenhoezen van weleer te bekijken. Je hoeft dus echt geen muziekfreak te zijn om dit boek in je boekenkast te hebben staan (of op je toilet te hebben liggen :-)). ( )
