Good read, despite the hero and heroine having some 'too stupid to live' moments. I look forward to the next book in the series. ( ) This novel was lacking in many departments: the plot seemed to be dished halfway the book, the characters are one dimensional (especially the male character) and the author's chosing of words (one more time delectable and I would toss away the book), writing a narrative are surely lacking here. When reading, I had to restrain myself from whipping out a red pen and start correcting it. This was my introduction to Kat Martin's work and after all the praise she was given, this book was immensely disappointing. Mistrust and misconceptions is a well known tool for writing drama, but you can overdo it and kill otherwise an interesting plot idea. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
