Many predators live in the Pacific ocean and we don't know everything about them, but we do know that their numbers are declining due to over-fishing, pollution, etc. The Tagging of Pacific Predators (TOPP) project aims to learn more about these animals by tagging them and mapping where they go. That way, they can warn fishermen about specific areas where these animals congregate. In this book, we learn about four of the animals that the project is tracking - sea turtles, bluegill tuna, white sharks, and sooty shearwaters (birds). We see the process used to tag each animal and a map of where the animals traveled while they were tagged. This will be fascinating to young ocean fanatics. Recommended.
