The book further explains the purpose of each female Greek goddess by telling the reader how to pronounce the Greek goddess' name, how she was created, what she is know for, her attributes, her family, flings, friends and foes, and any popular Greek myth that affiliates with the goddess.
It also includes how to pronounce each goddess's name, a family tree, glossary, index, stars of Greek mythology, a further reading list, and websites that a reader can use.
The book has photographs, paintings, and cartoons to depict the Greek goddess and their myths. There are also some "reality checks" which are scientific facts that clear some false creation that the myth states. An example would be dew is created by the atmosphere being moist and it condenses on objects. In the Greek myth, it is Eos' tears.
Since there are a lot information about Greek goddess, the book was formatted and summarized well enough for an older child to read and understand. The pages are formatted into columns and are colourful. The words not complex for a grade 5 and up student to read.
I would recommend this book due to it does not talk down on the reader. How the book was formatted made it enjoyable. The different illustrations in the book helped the book to be more interesting. ( )
