The first reason was because of the style. It was hard to keep up with and there was no general plot. To be specific there were just several conversation bubbles throughout the page that explained what was going on and the Greek/Latin translations. An example from the text was “calliope- calli- beautiful, ops- voice.” Another reason I didn’t enjoy this book was because of the design of the pages. The illustrations were well done, such as the cryptokids and the teleporter they were building. However, there wasn’t much fluency in the design and it is difficult to keep up with all of the illustrations (too many on each page). I did like the story in the sense that it was very informative and gives the reader a lot of translations in Greek/Latin. A few example are, (Polygons- Poly- Many, Gon- angle), (Onomatopoeia- greek and means the making of a name). Overall, I think the message of the story was about working together as a team to reach your goals. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
