Onderdeel van de reeks(en)Myth Adventures (Books 7-8)
Two classic Myth books are together in one volume. In M.Y.T.H. Inc. Link, former magician's apprentice Skeeve tumbles up the corporate ladder, but that doesn't keep him from sleuthing around some dangerous dimensions. And in Myth-Nomers and Im-Pervections, Skeeve's demon cohort, Ahaz, leaves in a huff, and Skeeve finds him in the worst neighborhood in the galaxy. Geen bibliotheekbeschrijvingen gevonden. |

Yes, Myth-Nomers and Impervections is much better. It feels more like the Myth series and returns its attention to Skeeve as he goes in search of Aahz. This book still has its setbacks and downfalls, and it is nowhere near as good as some of the other Myth novels that came before it, it is familiar in both the writing and the focus of the story. I will say that I did miss the other characters from the series as this book focuses almost entirely on Skeeve and his experiences on Perv as the boy from the backwater dimension takes on a dimension similar to Manhatten, and he is as much a fish out of water there as a farmboy would be in NYC. It does introduce a couple of other characters, such as Pookie (a Pervect bodyguard) and Kalvin (a djinn). ( )
