Tony Harris's art is well done, and Brian K Vaughn's writing is great as always, if not a little too witty, as always. I was really pulled into this series, as I usually am with great TPB's, but near the end things started getting hit and miss, and at the end, it felt like Brian lost interest, or was almost angry towards the series/characters and wrapped it up promptly. I'll not hold it against him or this great series, I regret none of the time spent reading it, and recommend it to all fans of finer comics. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
Bevat
In this volume, Mayor Mitchell Hundred-formerly known as the superhero The Great Machine-faces difficult decisions regarding New York City's drug laws. But will a string of brazen, violent robberies and a shocking suicide affect the Mayor's policy? And in a second story, "Power Down," set during the New York blackout of 2003, the mayor must deal with a city gone dark. Award-winning writer Brian K. Vaughan (Saga, Y: THE LAST MAN) deftly combines big city politics and superheroes in this critically acclaimed series. Also features EX MACHINA: INSIDE THE ACHINE and EX MACHINA SPECIAL #3.
