For example, the author uses an example of a post-colonial, militarized police raid and capture. Followed immediately by, “Thankfully, the Founding Fathers… did not want law enforcers to behave this way in the new nation being formed.” It was a little too reminiscent of inflammatory political rhetoric, with little substance to connect the concepts. The length of the book works against itself, not allowing a thorough exploration of the topic. No modern concerns of electronic privacy are addressed. The author focuses on cases regarding search and seizure of property. If this is a narrow topic that you are working on in an advanced class then this book could point you to a couple of court cases. Alone, this book would not be a good point of reference, and would encourage sloppy writing techniques. ( ) geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
