Flavia Alaya, founding director of the School of Intercultural Studies at Ramapo College in New Jersey, has also taught at New York University and Hunter College, CUNY. She is the author of William Sharp--"Fiona Macleod" as well as many essays on Victorian literature and cultural studies, and has toon meer received Fulbright, Guggenheim, and National Endowment for the Humanities awards.
