I Love to Tell the Story chronicles the life of Susan Barnett Braun while growing up in southern Indiana. Every chapter includes passages from many well-known hymns. Being just a few years younger than Susan Barnett Braun myself, I could appreciate the experiences the author had. She did an incredible job of pulling me into her life.

Many of the hymns were familiar to me and brought back many memories. The book kept my interest and made me want to read more. Growing up, I also was not one of the popular kids, but I made sure to always try to do what was expected. I found her choice of hymns and way of writing to be extremely entertaining and moving.

Her faith and love of her family came through beautifully in the pages of the book. So if you are looking for a book about faith, family and growing up, check out this book for yourself.… (meer)
