This is a lovely little children's book about being different. It tells the story of a little ant named Effie who has a really loud voice. Her voice scares away all the other animals that she tries to be friends with, but when an elephant comes along and almost crushes the ant colony and all the other nearby insects and critters, it's Effie's loud voice that saves the day--and finds a friend in the elephants.
