Gerald faces college, believing his fear would be merely attending and getting through more school years. However, when he discovers the existence of ghosts, his mentality changes. Written in first-person, this is a more intimate account of Gerald's experiences. The writing is young, descriptive, and engaging.

Siblings, Gabby and Maddox, are going to be ready for Christmas early this year by sending their letter to Santa.

However, Father tells the children they must move out of state before Christmas. The children become worried that Santa won’t be able to find them to deliver their presents. Father tries to reassure the children by telling them about Santa’s Family Moving Department, otherwise known as the FMD; Santa’s elite team of elves that track good boys and girls moving during the Christmas season.

Follow Gabby and Maddox as they move from Florida to Ohio. See them experience snow for the first time, and then enlist the help of a mall Santa to get word to the North Pole of their move. Meet Ralph, the team leader of the FMD, as he tracks the children across the country to ensure they are not left out of the Holiday cheer. Ralph, along with the help from Susie in the Mail Room and Bob in the Control Room, work together to keep Santa apprised of the siblings location.

Even with the location of the children in hand, Santa may need to use a little Christmas magic to ensure the family has a Christmas to remember.

A wise and talented writer once told me, never rate your own book, gee, I finally listened to someone.
I enjoyed writing this story, It brought back some great memories. I can’t wait until September when the book is released to the public. I have written a few children’s books, but this is my first YA novel, great for ages 8 to 12 and beyond.
Readers Favorites rated the book "5" stars saying, “If you like ghost stories, then you should read this one.” They also said “Lizardville reminds me of a cross between the movies “Stand by Me” and “The Goonies.” I hope you liked those movies, I did.
I leave you with a brief synopsis of Lizardville, Now available at all major on-line book retailers.
In a small Pennsylvania town called Lizardville, Johnny and his friends set out on a weekend camping trip. Parker tells a story about the legend of the Ax Factory murders.
Soon after, strange, mysterious things begin to happen. A spine tingling, edge of your seat adventure that will keep you guessing until the end.

Blast Off is the continuing adventures of Gabby and her younger brother Maddox. In this fun adventure, the children launch into space as part of the CAP program at NASA. CAP stands for Children’s Astronaut Program. Their mission is to visit a space station, however something goes wrong and left without power they drift off into outer space. Just when things look like they are about to get worse, the children encounter an alien named Spark and get whisked away to his home world, which just happens to be being orbiting Saturn, for a few days of excitement and suspense.

I really did enjoy this book. I went along for the ride and enjoyed seeing everything through the eyes of the children. The diverse alien world was beautifully described and the characters the kids meet along the way were fun. Their various adventures, while fast paced and intense at times, were kid sized and exciting, even in the face of danger. The end was a mite predictable, but fun all the same

I had not heard of Gabby and Maddox before this. Their previous adventure is mentioned throughout the book and they meet up with other recurring characters, however this book can stand alone quite easily. I am sure they will have many more adventures.

I would recommend this book for kids ages 8 and up.

I received my copy of this book as part of a GoodReads Giveaway.

I was so happy to have won this book through LibraryThing's Member's Review Giveaway. It's always fun to win books that I can share or read with my children. I enjoyed this book because it introduces small children to astronauts, outer space and alien races. It was full of imagination, problem solving, acceptance and differences. These are all things our young readers need to be exposed to. Overall, this was a cute story with great messages that held my children's attention, along with my own.
