The Third Rule by Andrew Barrett is the first book in the Eddie Collins series. Eddie is a CSI officer. What an exhilarating ride it takes you on. I felt sorry for Eddie at times, and at others I felt like telling him not to be so silly as it would come back to bite him. After he performs a good deed at the beginning of the book, his life falls apart and is then compounded by some terrible things happening to him. I couldn't put the book down and was sorry when it came to an end. I look forward to the rest in the series.… (meer)
Another episode of the wise cracking CSI, Eddie Collins as he curses everything and everyone in equal measures, he is charged the solve a murder with the corpse badly eaten, but corpses continue to pop up and Eddie comes face to face with his ex! This Side of Death is a page turner !!!
This was a quick, quirky little story about a death threat. Very entertaining albeit a little strange.

WHY does this have such a high rating??? If I could give negative stars I totally would.
Protag is a legit a-hole. And the story lacks any kind of dedicated editing. A middle-schooler could write better.
