Recopilación de los seriales de radio que durante los años cincuenta hicieron famosos a los hermanos Marx. Se nota claramente cómo en muchas ocasiones Martes y 13 han bebido de su humor absurdo (me gusta más Martes y 13). Hay algunos seriales realmente graciosos. En conjunto el libro es una biblia del absurdo. Los Marx eran geniales, aunque el propio libro explica al principio que el guión no era uno de sus fuertes (pues anda que si llega a serlo...).
I absolutely loved this and I would definitely recommed it to anyone who would like an interesting look into the cold ware and all the propaganda surrounding it.
This is a hillarious book. Our feelings about Russia and China have changed so much that seeing this overheated, red-baiting material is a shock. But it was a daily reality at mid-century. This book is copiously illustrated with photos, newspaper clippings, book covers and even "If the Devil Would Talk," the virulently anti-Communist comic book published by the Catholic Church in the 1950's. How people were able to take this stuff seriously when it was so over the top is simply hilarious as well as slightly disturbing.… (meer)
