This books breaks down the pledge of allegiance for the students, and it makes it much easier to understand. I would use this book to introduce the pledge of allegiance to the students.
This book contains the line of the pledge of allegiance which are paired with beautiful photographs taken around American, from landscape to national monuments; the meaning of the pledge and it's history along with information about the flag are also included in the text. This book can be used to teach children who are first learning to recite the pledge of allegiance about why we say the pledge and it's significance. I would deem this book appropriate for all children in elementary school.
