- Korte biografie
- Combining Western scientific methods and brief therapy strategies with Eastern philosophy, Insoo Berg collaborated on a number of influential projects to advance the practice of solution-focused therapy. As co-developer of a therapy model that emphasizes brief, directive, and creative solutions to problems that are presented, Berg has been instrumental in helping therapists work more efficiently and effectively. Rather than following traditional practices of bringing up the past, searching for underlying issues, and treatment of symptoms as mere signs of deeper issues, Berg emphasizes the importance of remaining in the present as much as possible and treating the presenting problem.
