Distributor/Synopsis: Students acquire a sense of their bioregion by constructing a map that shows the natural features of their area. Students then explore, both verbally and on foot, ways of making the community in which they live a more pleasant and sustainable place, including but not limited to development of community gardens, reconstruction of buildings, creating transportation alternatives, restoring wildlife habitat, recycling, and revitalizing neighborhoods - in other words, “re-inhabiting” the bioregion in which they live.… (meer)
