Three lesbian erotica stories by an author I've read before under a different name. Everything I've read by this author, both as Pumpkin Spice and as Kitty McIntosh, have been short stories (some as short as 9 pages), though the bio (for Spice) mentions full-length novels having been published.

1. The Driver
First one stars a woman "born into one of Scotland's wealthiest and most well-connected families", one that'd get "Lady" attached before her name. She goes by Fliss and drives trains, though, somewhat to spite her family. The train driving part, I assume.

The Driver/Fliss enjoys driving the night train, as it allows her to explore London during the day. And, of course, find willing women to sneak into corners of galleries for a different kind of fun.

It's a short story, and as such I do not wish to reveal too much, of course, but certain things need to be mentioned. Like how the story includes one woman dominating another in a semi-public setting.

One POV story.

Rating: ... it's hard to rate a snippet . . . 3.80

2. The Night Train
Mari is off on the Night Train to "get away" to London. She'd planned to sleep on the way, but that plan meet the British rail system. The cabin car she was supposed to ride in lacked power. So instead of being in there by herself, she was out in the seating area. Which is how she meets "the cutest green-eyed blonde" named Sal.

One POV story.

Rating: 3.88

3. The Club Car
Clare Jackson rides the train a lot. One thing or another caused her to do the unusual and get food aboard the train. Whereupon she spotted Trudy McTeer, Club Car manager. Thereafter, Clare made a point of traveling when the club car might be quiet, and she'd be able to lust after Trudy.

Two person POV, unlike the prior stories in this series, the lust interest also got their time as the POV.

". . . taking in the glistening, naked women in front of her . . ."; That should be naked woman

Rating: 3.74 - more characterization, it seemed, in this one, the actual sex itself was, hmms, not sure how to explain.

The idea of food play caused me to rate this one lower. Lack of communication before things happened also caused a lower rating, especially as the setting was public, and no warning was given for the food play.

So, 3.80, 3.88, 3.74 = 11.42/3 = 3.81 overall rating.

At first I was completely bored by the book, but that changed. After a few chapters I began to like Rebel and Ryan. Ryan comes first in the nice guys list, and is very likeable. Rebel has brains and balls as she is to testify against the owners of a trucking company who keep their drivers in poverty by implementing false rules and steel from them.
This book was no. 6 in a series, but that didn't bother me in reading. You can read it as a stand alone book.
For some reason I don't like books written in the I person. In this one it changed from Rebel to Ryan. You have to get used to that. You also have to get used to the not so nice language sometimes and the sex. Yes people, Rebel and Ryan share a bed, and a couch, and a shower. Young people...
Disclaimer: I got this book in the Librarything Early Reviewers.
