William K. Black is Associate Professor of Economics and Law at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. His leadership role in investigating the SL crisis has been widely praised and is used as a model in the books The Professional Edge: Competencies for Public Service and Unsung Heroes: Federal toon meer Execucrats Making a Difference.
