This was a tale of a young girl who is involved in an auto accident and spends many years trying to find the truth. I enjoyed the writing style and felt the author did a great job making you connect with the characters. This one could use a bit more editing and was rather predictable early on, but it's still a good read.

With a sociopath turning up unexpectedly after several years of no contact, she is not there to just say hello. Money has a habit of running through her fingers and it appears she will do just about anything to get her hands on some of her deceased Uncles millions, why not, he was always generous in the past wasn’t he?
A budding romance between the sociopaths cousin and the local rookie police officer gives that little bit extra human context to the story. Storyline was believable and the characters were just about walking off the pages.

Ms. Blanchard does a masterful job of giving readers just enough information to keep them questioning their theories. Additionally, her characters are relatable and evoke a wealth of emotions. Definitely worth a read!
