I am currently working in health insurance (pricing), and find myself frequently going back to this book to build up my knowledge of health insurance, pricing, underwriting, etc. Covers large chucks of material required for the SOA exams, but very useful even if you are not planning to become an actuary.

An excellent resource for professionals. I used this book while working in a corporate group insurance (purchasing) department and I found it invaluable for learning fundamentals of the group market and understanding insurance or actuarial theory.
