Georges Boudaille

After reading A Death In Brittany, a mystery involving a Gauguin painting, I wanted to learn more about the painter. This was the only book involving him that was available at my local library. I didn’t read the entire book but did read the sections on his early life, how he became a painter, and his painting style. The book is well written and detailed. It includes examples of his paintings, which I was unfamiliar with. At times, the author seemed to add statements that came across as more opinion than fact, but this didn’t detract from the overall value of the book.… (meer)
