Third tale in the series emphasizes the horror aspects and continues the plot threads from the last novel, giving Julie a new love interest and Darkman a semi-live interest. Finale sets up the subsequent story. Features the best cover.

Second installment is an improvement on the first novel, reintroducing Julie and in a way Drake. The pulp-crime tone continues, however the subplot dealing with the witch hunter is so peripheral its sudden importance at the end nearly ruins the novel.
