Wolfe, (English men of action) door A. G. Bradley
A good read, Chapter 6 makes you understand why the states are like they are, in America.
This is definitely a Victorian history book - Bradley's at his best when he can speculate wildly about romanticized versions of his subjects - but since I knew virtually nothing about Welsh history before this, it's a convenient introduction. This was definitely told from an English point of view, though - not that it's not sympathetic to Glyndwr, but that by the end, you feel like you understand the motives of the English and the Welsh are still entirely cryptic.
