This volume, the third in the series of "The People's France", is, in a measure, the key to all the others.Paris is the capital of a highly centralised country. The whole history of the French people is reflected in the story of Paris and in that of its monuments.
A synopsis of the geography, peoples, politics & economics of Burma, Indo-CHina areas as they were in 1944 and viewed from a British prospective. May prove a more enjoyable read for people with a particular interest in these areas. The use of more photographs /illustrations would have enhanced the reading experience.
