Bonny Brookes

I just finished a book called LINKED LIVES which i am going to send to my friend ....based on an actual friendship that lasted over 40 years. One girl stays in town , one roams the country looking for... whatever. IIlness, deaths, celebrations , ups, downs ,they stay connected even if its only thru mail and visits interspersed thru the years.
Bonny and Lori could be named Linda and Cheryl, with some differences of course. The author doesn't hold back, tells the truth in her relationships, her losses and her joy.
Anyone would love this book, anyone in the boomer generation NEEDS to read this book.

Such is the story Brookes shares in Linked Lives, her tribute to her best friend of 40 years, Lori. I fell in love with both these gals. I shared their laughter, their tears, their ups and downs as they traveled through this journey called life. While Lori’s life ended way too early, their shared memories are what Bonny wanted to relay to Lori’s family after her passing. She’s done her friend proud. This is truly a wonderful book in every way and I tip my hat to Bonny for having the strength to tell such an intimate and personal story.
