Not put together very well; choppy presentation, not enough elaboration on certain topics. Difficult to find information for review. Pictures and statements from "experts" seemed like "filler" to make the book look more professional than it was. There are definitely better books out there.

Kind of heavy reading but I liked it*.

I like the plot twist in the end but (possible spoilers!) I hope there are better cliffhangers (insert cause code) and that the next installment would include laterality and more specificity.

Why go with a procedure code for an angioplasty when you can have a diagnosis code, and instead something fun like..release of duodenum, open approach?

Maybe procedures using CPT or HCPCS? But thats a whole nother installment...

I know, Im a total ICD10 shipper. One can dream right?

Character development was not progressing. I could see the author taking this beyond 3 to 5 digits. I could even get behind 3 to 7 digits but that's just me.

I think we have a great possibility of more from this author!

*Please take this for what it is, tongue in cheek, which I wont code unless you bite something while on flaming waterskis. Its a textbook for me, so how else would I say it did its job?
