An interesting short story intoducing Richard Fitzwarren.

This Tudor based story continues with Mary on the throne and Princess Elizabeth in danger. Can Richard Fitzwarren and his elder brother Jack save her. Especially as both are recovering from life-threatening wounds and what of the rest of the Fitzwarren family.
An enjoyable thriller with its likeable characters.

The adventures continue as Richard Fitzwarren has a plan, but he will need help. Will his brother Jack join him. And what of Catherine De Bernay, who will help her to get her land back.
I would not recommend this as a standalone story. The story of the Fitzwarrens continues throughout the series.
