Readers go on a family journey as the author quilts words into wonderful insights of how ordinary women have extraordinary value as they live in harmony with God's plan.

The author shares devotions for women, particularly women in the Woman's Missionary Union of the Southern Baptist Convention, that use the analogy of piecing together a quilt to illustrate a Christian life that demonstrates to others her devotion to God through service to others. The first half of this book was definitely stronger than the second half, but I did love her quilt analogy.
