Georgia R. Byrd

Georgia R. Byrd has called Savannah home for more than thirty years and has worked as a reporter in Atlanta and Savannah, writing for Savannah Morning News covering news and feature stories mainly from the island communities of Chatham County. She has also written for Savannah Magazine and the toon meer Georgia Ports Authority's magazine, AnchorAge. She is pleased to return to working on Insiders' Guide to Savannah Hilton Head, having served as photography editor in the book's first edition.
