Great story. Lots of details and military intrigue. Parts of it were a little too detailed making the story drag, and it was a little to sweet at the end, but overall a great book.

The Zeta Grey War: How it Began by D F Capps is a short story but a good and fresh look on aliens. Since it is so short, I can't tell much just that it is a great prequel and it makes me want to start the Zeta Grey War Series. I like to read prequels to decide on if I am going to start a series or not and this was a good prequel. If it can hook me in 40 pages, well it must me good.

Right now this book is free on Kindle, which is always a slight gamble but wow, I was pleasantly surprised with both the story-line and characters. I found the whole book very interesting (and in SF I normally skim the hard science parts, but this book was engaging all the way through) Fascinating scenarios and possibilities. I found this book to be intriguing and well worth the time, I read it in one sitting straight through.
