A collection of 17 interviews with AFL star players and young seriously ill patients of the Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne. The book was conceived and compiled by students of Trinity Grammar School in Melbourne as a fund raising project for the hospital. There is a common theme of struggle against adversity, determination, and self-belief in all the interviews. AFL identities featured are, Greg Williams, Wayne Carey, Tony Free, Tony Liberatore, Jason Dunstall, Tony Shaw, Kevin Sheedy, and, in a real coup, the rarely interviewed Gary Ablett Snr. Tim Watson has written a Forward where he reflects on his own career and some of the themes of the interviews.
