I was tragically disappointed with this story. The odd summary on the back of the book originally drew me to it, but everything about the story was lacking. The table of contents was severely wrong. The book could have been excellent, but the writing was so bad that often it was hard to focus on the story or even make sense of what was going on. Misplaced modifiers, regularly switching tenses, extreme wordiness, and a plethora of other issues made this book nearly nonsensical. The story also ended in the strangest place, even for a book that will have a sequal, the story just sort of stopped.… (meer)
