This is a quick, but captivating read. I wouldn't have minded a longer story, but Caruana manages to pack quite a bit into this story. I enjoyed getting to know DrakElla, and following along as she solved the mystery. Although it wasn't a super hard mystery to solve, that's to be expected with such a short book. (But it was still an enjoyable read). I also cannot wait to see what adventures the series has in store, and hopefully future books will be a little longer.

Allow an afternoon for this adult multiverse paranormal which has Princess Sadie Artindeen of Amithia fleeing through a portal to Earth as her cousin Elgort invades the palace.
