Claudia Castañeda

She received her PhD in interdisciplinary studies in 1997, and have held full-time, visiting, and part-time positions in US and UK academic institutions, including Brandeis University, Harvard University, Suffolk University, the University of California at San Francisco, Wellesley College, Boston University, and Lancaster University (UK).  Her publications include Figurations: Child, Bodies, Worlds (Duke University Press), as well as a variety of journal articles, book reviews, and edited collections. She has taught at the undergraduate, master’s and PhD levels. Teaching continues to be an important part of her work in addition to editing and translating.
