Excelente introducción entre las relaciones cine-historia, en este caso, la guerra. Merece la pena destacar que el autor trabaja con títulos poco conocidos o tratados en este tipo de trabajos -como las filmografías polacas y rusas- amén de las obras clásicas- Ameno, reflexivo y bien documentado. El capítulo sobre el cine antibélico es muy destacable.
