The first part of the book briefly describes various scientific and less so theories as to how the first inhabitants got to the America's. The native stories give a different backdrop....that they were created here. A good selection of well research stories from many tribes in North America with only the shortfall that many are too briefly told.

A great overview which leads to more research being needed.
