Ronald J. Comer

Compared to Myers book "Psychology", this is a breath of fresh air. Arguments and data are logically presented with case studies from actual cases beginning each chapter. Modern era issues such as PTSD and bullying and suicide are presented with cultural sensitivity and thoughtfulness. I am impressed beyond words by this book and highly recommend it to even beginning readers as it is very accessible.

A great overview and introduction of abnormal psychology. Try not to diagnose your friends when you read this!
