Rating is based on watching approximately the first 10 minutes of the movie (first scene and start of second scene). The dialogue was bad cliché format. Classic character actors in many of the roles. The movie was so badly done and with uninteresting characters that this is not worth watching.

Over-the-top, but not in a good way. Dialog appears to be written by a teenager who thinks, "Wow, I can make this guy so cool!" Sorry, Sylvester. Watch Rambo for a movie on a more cerebral level.—Paul

Rodi, 1945. Gli Alleati stanno per sbarcare sulle coste dell'Egeo e i tedeschi si preparano ad accoglierli con un missile superpotente. Ma i partigiani locali fanno fuori la guarnigione germanica e distruggono il luogo adibito a rampa di lancio. Cosmatos (Rappresaglia e Cassandra Crossing), regista greco, propone questo film assai sciocco e mal confezionato. L'unico attore che si salva è Elliott Gould. (fonte: Mymovies)

The expression "an ugly drunk" takes on a whole new meaning when the thirsty crew of an American deep-sea mining station investigates a mysteriously capsized, Russian wreck and brings back some experimental vodka that turns the unlucky imbiber into a plasma-craving fish creature. (Has there ever been a better reason for abstinence?) Although this "Aliens meets 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea" story doesn't add anything new to the classic horror and sci-fi formulas that it so obviously borrows from, it's a fun monster film all the same, with impressive, gnarly effects, a better-than-expected cast (Peter Weller and a scene-stealing Ernie Hudson are the standouts), and an insanely detailed production design by Alien veteran Ron Cobb. Director George P. Cosmatos went on to direct Tombstone. --Andrew Wright
