The author recognizes the difficulties and challenges of evangelism and how to push through the awkwardness. He uses many stories of his own experiences.
The ends of the book are excellent. The author puts the reader at ease about the issue of awkwardness by owning it and moving on. He provides great conversational strategies that identify the awkwardness, provide opportunities to turn conversations toward spiritual matters/Jesus, and to see when to "step back" while maintaining the relationship. Many good examples throughout.
In the middle is where the author starts discussing healing and the charismata...which isn't exactly my thing. Be warned.
Good encouragement toward evangelism that isn't pushy but isn't timid, either.… (meer)
