John M. Cummuta

A great, if ultimately flawed, book, whose first half is truly a five-star classic. Mr. Cummuta writes as a former executive of a marketing company, describing how the four forces (Media, Marketers, Retailers & Financers) combine to financially enslave a wide swath of Americans. The 2nd part of the book, including some of his examples, are horribly flawed from a mathematical perspective, but if you can overlook this it is a challenging and thought-provoking book. This is the book that led me to focus on paying off *all* of my debts (including the home mortgages).… (meer)
