This is a sibling to the earlier book by Watkins for executives in general; the approaches and methodology are more or less the same, but some plausible sounding examples (not quite 'case studies') have been added on from ostensibly government organisations. I am personally sceptical whether anyone can actually follow through the detailed steps and check the tables, but the book has some good advice for executive effectiveness, and there are some specific tips for the public sector.… (meer)
