The title When it Rains seems a poor choice as its irrelevant to the entire story and the description for this novel is a little misleading - its part of the story but not quite. Have to wonder if the publisher actually read the book at all.For me, the storyline is a little too melodramatic and most of the characters didn't really ring true. Honey failed to gain my sympathy with her whining and any likeablity I worked up for Jay dissappeared with his last thoughts. Kendra was definately the least sympathetic but also the most real with genuine motivation and well developed character.There is quite a bit of unexpected explicit sex and language. I don't care about language but in this circumstance it just wasn't authentic alot of the time, my impression was that the author felt she had to throw in a swear word every two pages to "keep it real". hello people this is a excenting book to read to read it's called the player proposal by angie daniels for people who like african american book this one is a good book to read. this story is about a women name danica dansforth who is seeing a man by the name of jaden beaumont but what she did't know was that he's a player until a recent conversation with between jaden and his brother. danica decide to move away so she won't have to see jaden face again but jaden comes back and to make things work out will he stop being a player?… (meer)
