Edward E. Daub

This is a very unique language textbook. It is geared towards those of us trying to improve their comprehension of technical japanese. Each chapter introduces vocabulary from an area of science and adds in grammar that appear in the selections from real sources. They do a great job of building on vocabulary and grammar with repetition so that by the end of the book you are a much more competent reader. Keep in my that this book is mainly geared towards reading technical japanese, and therefore it is heavy on written forms over spoken forms… (meer)
