When I first picked up this book it fell open at the recipe for "Peruvian Stew" which seemed odd for a book titled "The Lancashire Cook Book". That with "Sesame Salmon Yakisoba" gave me the idea that there must be communities of Peruvians and Japanese firmly integrated within Lancashire. However the book is actually a collection of single recipes from restaurants, pubs and shops in Lancashire, some of which have a local flavour and others which do not. I found it a fun and quirky collection.

A great book for anyone that is considering a career in acting! This book gives many different short screenplays for two people to act out. The book has scenes between a man and woman; two women; and two men. The book could be used by high school and college acting troupes or screenplay authors looking for examples of dialog.
