Laurie Devine

I was totally intrigued by this novel. An american woman falls in love with a middle eastern man while attending college. She marries him and goes to live in Saudi Arabia. She is faced with the harshness of life in a foreign country and the stark reality that she has to share her husband with his other wives. I lived in Saudi Arabia for many years and the author mentions streets I traveled. I knew exaclty where she was referring which made the novel more personal to me.
