A Poisonous Mystery

Peach Cobbler Poison is an addictive mystery of a baker whom moves to a small town only to be involved with a murder. The majority of the book has the main character being treated badly by the majority of the town however she is written in such a way that you feel what she feels: isolated. Written similar to that of Joanne Fluke’s Murder She Baked series, this book is hard to put down however the ending can be guessed.

This was a very good cozy. It wraps up the year at the Drunken Pie and gives Izzy a chance to solve one more mystery. Really enjoy the setting and of course the Christmas season. The mystery was good with lots of red herrings. Another good trip to Sunshine Springs.

I haven't read this author before but I really enjoyed this cozy. The characters were engaging and funny and the mystery was good. I don't talk politics because it is crazy how people react and this book portrays that well. Will definitely check out more by this author.
