Interesting autobiography of this women's life and struggle. The vast majority of it had to do with about 5 years of her life in an emotionally abusive relationship and involved in the sex industry. The very end is about her turn toward the Christian faith and leaving her relationship and work.

Well, bless her heart, this has a triumphant ending for Ms. Dust.
I am glad she is doing so well and that she is out there trying to rescue other women who are currently in the trap she was in.
I wish her all the best.
Bookwise, it isn't very well written but that isn't the point I suppose.
5 stars for courage and triumph but likability rating for me was that it was just ok.

The pacing was a bit slow, and truly I felt frustrated at times when it seemed that she could have stated things more succinctly, however the story was truly from the heart, and the characters were enduring which made it easier to keep pushing through.… (meer)

This book will strike at the very heart of the lie of exotic dancing: its only for fun. Mrs. Dust gives a look into the life of what is, regrettably, an all too common background of strippers and who they are. From loneliness, isolation, wanting to be loved, and trying to survive, this book gives a very powerful firsthand knowledge of the "adult" entertainment industry. Mrs. Dust shows that the "adults" are lost girls just wanting to be told they are worth something and doing everything then can to find acceptance. The passion, peppered with autobiographical stories, make this book a must read.… (meer)
