This is hidden gem! When I saw the cover, I was sure it would be nothing more than outdated 80s patterns for sweaters (boxy oversized monsters). Luckily I was wrong. The first section is a wealth of information about technique, shown via several sampler pieces. Many of these are techniques and fabric characteristics I haven't seen in any other machine knitting source. I want to try every one of them! Then at the end, there are clothing patterns, many of them, yes, in 80s styles that won't be too useful today. But this book is worth is for the technique section alone.… (meer)
